About GK Fabrications
Founded in 2012, GK are not your typical fabrications company.
Family owned with 4 members of the King family working in various roles including Director Gary, GK aim to offer something a little different from the norm.
Based in Sunderland, North East England and with vast experience across all aspects of engineering, GK can provide the kind of full product life-cycle service that cannot be achieved elsewhere, from concept to install.

Comprehensive Metal
Fabrication Services
GK provide end-to-end metal fabrication, from design and prototyping through to finished, installed components. Welding, sheet metal, specialist coatings and on-site installation are all handled by our experienced team.
Welding
MIG and TIG welding for mild steel, stainless and aluminium, covering repairs, bespoke builds and repeat production. Our coded welders work from your drawings, maintain tight tolerances and deliver strong, clean joints that stand up to demanding industrial use every day.
Sheet Metal
Precision sheet metal fabrication including cutting, folding, punching and assembly in thicknesses and finishes. We produce guards, brackets, housings and custom parts, combining accurate tooling with sensible lead times so your projects move smoothly from prototype through to reliable repeat batches.
Specialist Coatings
Specialist protective coatings that extend the working life of fabricated components. Through partners we arrange powder coating, wet spraying, galvanising and plating, matching colours and specifications so your parts arrive finished, protected against corrosion and ready to perform in industrial environments.
Installation and Commissioning
On-site installation and commissioning for new fabrications, upgrades and modifications. Our site team handle delivery, positioning and final fixing, coordinating with your staff so equipment is aligned, tested and handed over, reducing downtime and keeping your production or processing lines moving.
